We take the privacy of personal data very seriously. Domaine l’Arpent will not sell and/or provide your personal information to third parties. We only use your personal data for the purpose for which you provided it and in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Telecommunications Act. Collecting data

We collect the data we ask you to fill in if you:

make a reservation request

requests a direct reservation via the holiday home

sign up for the newsletter

if you download the reading fragments of the Dutch book ‘Our Pilgrimage on the French house market’ or one of the other free (e)books

We only use the data that you provide to us. This can be the following data:

name
address
mailadress
phone number
amount of adults
the country where you live

We need this information to properly answer your request.

What do we use your data for

The data is collected and stored for the following purposes:

We need your name, address, e-mail, telephone number and number of adults to check the availability of the holiday home for you. If you have requested a free download, we only ask for your name and e-mail address. We store this data in MailChimp.

We use your name, e-mail address and country for sending commercial newsletters and possible retargeting for Facebook advertisements.

Unsubscribe

Have you registered for one of the free downloads or made a request via the contact form, but do you no longer want to receive e-mail from us in the future? Then you can always unsubscribe with one click on a link. You will find the unsubscribe link at the bottom of every email. Or simply contact us. Your e-mail address will then be immediately removed from our file and will not be saved.

To create advertising target groups in Facebook, we use the e-mail addresses that we collect through the holiday home inquiries or a free download on our website.

Information we store

First and last name, address, zip code, place of residence, country, number of adults – This is so that the confirmation can be sent to the right person and address as quickly and easily as possible.

Telephone number – This is to be able to inform you about your request or provide last-minute changes to information about your holiday home. Sometimes it is more convenient to do this by telephone.

E-mail address – Once we have received your request for your holiday home or retreat, you will receive a confirmation and invoice by e-mail, as well as arrival information.

Security data

Appropriate technical measures have been taken to protect personal data against loss or other forms of unlawful processing. These measures, including encryption using an SSL certificate, ensure a level of security that is appropriate to the data we process.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file that is sent by our website and placed by your browser on the device you use to visit our website. The information stored in the cookie can be sent back to our website when you visit the website again. Our website is linked to Google Analytics. Your IP address is masked, a processing agreement has been signed with Google and no data is forwarded for additional Google services.

Cookies are used for the best possible functioning of this website and to tailor the content of advertisements to your preferences.
